New Malware Spam through MSN Messenger - www.GroupHappy.com
73GroupHappy - Acia Berry 2.0?
If you have used MSN Messenger in the last decade, you have probably seen the AciaBerry message from someone on your list, and not just once, but more times than you would really have liked to. It's one of those things that sticks in your head for a long time since you don't really expect it when it happens.
Unfortunately, after people started becoming aware of the scam that was Acia Berry, some tool decided to start another website called "GroupHappy.com" which works in a similar way, where you get to take a "Free Trial" for pills that supposedly enlarge a certain male body part.
However, the scam is not the worst part about this GroupHappy website. The fact that GroupHappy decided to advertise the site by sending spam messages through MSN Messenger and hacking people's contact lists is bound to give them a bad name and I can guarantee GroupHappy.com will soon be just as, if not more infamous than Acia Berry.
Update: Learn how to remove and delete the GroupHappy virus from your PC.
The GroupHappy MSN Messenger message
In the last 3 weeks, I have gotten 2 of these messages about GroupHappy.com and they were both from people on my contact list, but they have no idea the message was ent from their account, as it is the malware (virus) that automatically sends the message.
I managed to take a screencap of one of these messages advertising the GroupHappy scam and you can view it on the right (click to view full-size).
"Don't be hating. If you want the ladies to pay more attention why don't you do the right thing. Until next Friday, this site is giving one free bottle of pe**s pills to anyone who orders for the first time. You just pay a couple of dollars for stamps, but thats all. They work guarenteed and dont cost nuttin. www.grouphappy.com"
Once you click on the link that says "www.GroupHappy.com", your computer gets infected and sooner or later all the contacts on your MSN Messenger list will get the same message that you got. Some of them may click on it and the cycle will repeat itself, thus infecting the GroupHappy virus on hundreds of thousands of people's computers within a short space of time.
How to tell GroupHappy.com is a Scam
The first thing I did after realizing that the GroupHappy message was some sort of an Acia Berry spam and scam product, I googled several variations of the word GroupHappy. After trying phrases like "GroupHappy", "GroupHappy.com", "www.GroupHappy.com", "Group Happy" and even "GroupHappy MSN", I got nothing! Na-da! This told me that this was a new viral spam that was spreadign quickly through MSN so I decided to write an article about it to make you aware of the nature of this new website and whether you can trust it.

***I strongly recommend NOT going to the website as it is possible it can infect your PC just by going to GroupHappy.com in any way, even if it is directly through your browser***
I wanted to take a screencap of the GroupHappy website so I can add a picture here, so I turned my anti-virus protection to the extreme, used some additional protection and hit enter with "www.grouphappy.com" in my address bar.
The screencap on the right shows the website, with some images blurred out.
I am not really sure of what I expected. Maybe I thought a window would pop-up and tell me my computer
had been hacked and I had just lost my collection of 100GB+ of movies and TV shows, or a lame speech bubble pop-up saying "I got you! You've been pranked!".
However, to my surprise, none of that happened. Nonetheless, I did see some images that have scarred me for life. There are a lot of R-rated pictures showing images of men before and after using the GroupHappy enlargement pills.
"Avoid GroupHappy pills at all costs!"
The following is a message that was posted on January 8th on the trust-worthy website "AmericanScammers".
Avoid this "company" at all costs. It is simply a rigged up website using dodgy promotional techniques through MSN malware and other tactics to get you to their website. They then falsely countdown the number of minutes before their trial is up. Once they got your credit card, it's all over.
There is no product or service. It's just an attempt to get your details. Please don't fall for it.
